Privacy Notice
ATHAR FOR FUTURE CIO is the data controller where it determines how and why personal information is used. Contact info@atharhub.uk with privacy questions or rights requests.
Information we collect
We may collect names, contact details, country, messages and correspondence; donor identity, donation amount, fund, frequency and Stripe transaction references; project or programme information you submit where a relevant form exists; administrator security records; and limited device, server, fraud-prevention and audit information. Stripe processes card details. We do not receive or store full card numbers or CVCs. This site currently has no newsletter sign-up.
Why we use it and lawful bases
We use information to respond to enquiries, administer donations, deliver and improve charitable education, secure the service, maintain records and meet legal duties. Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a requested service or steps you ask us to take, legal obligation, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the charity, or consent where required. We assess and balance legitimate interests against individual rights.
Sharing and international transfers
We use contracted providers for hosting, email, storage, security and payments, including Stripe. We may share information with professional advisers, banks, regulators or public authorities where necessary or required. We do not sell personal information. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we require an applicable adequacy route, contractual safeguard or other lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention and security
We retain records for only as long as needed for their purpose, charity accounting, tax, legal, safeguarding, dispute and security requirements. Exact periods depend on the record and any current legal hold. Access is restricted, administrator accounts use two-factor authentication, sensitive transmissions use HTTPS in production and service providers are selected with security in mind.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights are limited by legal obligations and exemptions. We may verify identity before responding. We do not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
